Ontouch Vehicle Logbook makes company vehicle movements easier to record and much easier to prove. Instead of relying on a paper book, each exit and return builds a traceable record against the vehicle, driver and site.

Staff can scan the vehicle QR code or licence disc to load the registration and vehicle details, and scan the driver's Ontouch QR code to verify the user. When the vehicle leaves, the Start KM is recorded; when it returns, Ontouch recalls the open trip, records the End KM and calculates the distance travelled.

Fuel amount or cost and litres can also be captured, together with optional photo evidence. Built-in mileage checks help catch incorrect readings before they become part of the vehicle history.

Vehicle status is checked before each movement so the app knows whether the next action should be an Exit or an Entry. This helps prevent duplicate movements and keeps the Start KM from the outgoing journey ready for the vehicle's return.

The app also checks odometer readings against the previous mileage, prevents an End KM lower than the Start KM, and asks the user to confirm unusually large jumps. Licence-expiry information can be read from supported licence-disc scans, while photo evidence can be attached when the vehicle leaves.

The result is a cleaner vehicle history with less manual retyping, fewer mileage errors and a reliable record that management can review later.
